Freshman Tennis Practice Information

Freshman tennis is a no-cut sport and is played in the fall. All athletes must have their physicals turned in before being allowed to play. Freshman Tennis is a great way to get introduced to team tennis. It is an eight-week program starting in late August and running through early September. Practices are typically Monday–Thursday after school until about 4:30 p.m., with matches once or twice a week. This is a fantastic opportunity to make friends and connect to the tennis program. Freshman tennis is not required to try out for varsity and junior varsity, but it is highly encouraged. Contact Head Coach Bill Woods with questions at bwoods@brophyprep.org.

  • Monday, August 19 – Monday-Thursday after school at Brophy from 2:30 to 3:15. Monday, August 26, at Phoenix Tennis Center until 5 p.m.
